I don't know why, but I must have Middle Earth on my mind these days. I haven't read the books in ages, and I haven't seen the movies in recent memory. But this is the second week in a row where I've illustrated an IF topic with 'Lord of the Rings' subject matter. In this case, the climb up the stairs of Cirith Ungol, with Gollum, Frodo, and Sam.

Illustration Friday-Climbing

When I saw this week's topic, I immediately thought of Gollum, from 'The Hobbit' and 'Lord of the Rings,' hiding in his cave with the Ring of Power.
