From the universe of 'Supernova Lullaby'

It's been a while since I posted (as always), so I thought I would pull some stuff from the sketchbooks that's been sitting around for a while. All of these come from the universe of 'Supernova Lullaby.' They may all lead to bigger and better things down the road, but for now, they're just sketches (albeit, a bit more elaborate than I am use to).

Superheroes (and Villains)

I'm not terribly proficient with superheroes, but with FallCon coming up, I wanted to take a more serious crack at them. I see these as pin ups or posters (or prints) rather than covers of any sort. The characters may be cartooned more than they appear in the comics, but it was really a matter of incorporating my style into the characters existing visuals. However, I re-configured Electro's costume in the Spider-Man drawing, and used a more classic visual for the Joker, rather than the more gritty Joker from this summer's Batman movie.

'The Ballad of Toby & Sara'

Well, after months of drawing, inking, printing, and preparation, it's finally here (well, almost). If you're in the Minneapolis area, stop by the SooVac to get a look at the first two issues of 'The Ballad of Toby & Sara.'
