Return to Printmaking

A lot has been happening these past few months. I completed the Cid & Francis comic, which you can read over on my Tumblr, and I've also decided to get back into printmaking. I use to do a lot of this back in the day, but fell away from it during grad school. I guess looking at it now, it's a medium that I had real strengths in, and it helped me to stand out from the pack. I'm a little rusty, I'll admit, but being back in a print shop, rolling ink onto a block and sending it through a press, it felt good.

So far I have 9 items for sale, a mix of older relief prints from my pre-grad school days, and some recent digital prints from my 'Supernova Lullaby' webcomic. Here's a sneak peek at some of the art for sale:
Browse around, and enjoy! Thanks!

Superheroes (and Villains)

I'm not terribly proficient with superheroes, but with FallCon coming up, I wanted to take a more serious crack at them. I see these as pin ups or posters (or prints) rather than covers of any sort. The characters may be cartooned more than they appear in the comics, but it was really a matter of incorporating my style into the characters existing visuals. However, I re-configured Electro's costume in the Spider-Man drawing, and used a more classic visual for the Joker, rather than the more gritty Joker from this summer's Batman movie.
